Travel Tractions is looking for talented, content-focused people to join our fast-growing team. Real client work, structured courses, feedback and mentorship, with a real path to freelancing or a full-time role.

A real internship, paid on performance.
Financial incentives start at R1,000 to R12,500 a month, based on your experience, skills, time availability, ability to provide value, and pace of learning. Most of the team is based in Cape Town, but we hire nomadically, from wherever your travels take you.
You’ll learn from courses we’ve built and refined ourselves, the same ones that have already helped train some genuinely great digital marketers.

What will you learn?
We help determine which area of online marketing best suits your skillset and your desire to learn. Our main service offering is SEO, which touches content, design and web development, so most interns get exposure across all three.
Content & SEO
Research, writing, editing and on-page SEO for real travel client sites, plus our own internal projects.
Social media
Planning, scheduling and community management across the platforms travel brands actually use
Growth & internal projects
We test our own markets and build our own products. Elements include email marketing, web development, PR, funnels, video and automation, work we don’t offer to clients but do run ourselves.
We’ve also built structured courses on content and SEO optimisation from our own training, so you’re learning from a real curriculum, not just picking things up as you go.

Requirements
- At least 2 years of work experience in any field
- Strong writing ability with a good grasp of grammar and spelling (this will be tested)
- A degree/diploma in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or Media Studies (advantageous but not essential)
- Copywriting, SEO, design or social media skills
- Accustomed to a fast-paced environment
- Using the word "banana" in your application about why this position is good for you
- Understanding of SEO (advantageous but not essential)
- Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook experience (advantageous but not essential)
- A structured multi-tasker with sound research skills
